Just a short walk from the beach through a grove of cottonwoods and a trail lined with wild flowers, the Amook Island cabin offers breathtaking views with all the comforts of home. The cabin sleeps 6 and has a living area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a unique outdoor privy. One bedroom is furnished with 2 bunks and the other with 4 bunks.

Relax in a wood fired banya/sauna (attached to the cabin), cook s’mores around the campfire or play horseshoes and croquet in the meadow. Take a refreshing nap in the hammock, sit on the deck and enjoy the sunset while listening to the sounds of nature, search the hillsides for wildlife, or gaze at an eagle’s nest out the living room window. The beauty of Alaska is yours to behold!
Meals
We put our emphasis into making sure your adventure is all you dreamed it would be and leave the cooking to you. A fully furnished kitchen is provided. Amenities include a propane refrigerator / freezer and range, cooking utensils, pots & pans, coffee pot, silverware, dinner ware, and water. Enjoy your “catch of the day” grilled on the outdoor propane BBQ. You will need to provide your own food and paper products.
